It is my pleasure to welcome and assist you with the journey of discovery in retirement living. You have taken the most important step by exploring and planning for your future. Sandhill Cove is the most beautiful neighborhood with fabulous food, a 28,000-square-foot, resort-style clubhouse, sunny days and the friendliest address you could ever find. In my role, I am responsible for meeting with all prospective guests and supporting all members with resources and programs designed to ensure a stress-free move. Additionally, I plan and coordinate marketing events throughout the year and supervise the move coordination and design requests for all new members. I have been helping seniors at Sandhill Cove for 14 years, and I am excited to schedule your community visit and lunch if you have the time. I studied at Upsala College and APU, and I have professional experience with home staging and redesign services. I look forward to meeting with you and assisting you with this new and exciting lifestyle!

Jolynn Whitten, MHS, NHA

Hello! I have been the executive director at Sandhill Cove since 2008 and with the management company, Life Care Services, since 2005. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Administration from Marywood College and my Master of Health Science in Health Finance and Management from Johns Hopkins University. I am also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in two states. I have been working in the senior lifestyle business for more than 20 years and look forward to meeting and welcoming you to our vibrant waterfront community. In my role, I am responsible for the overall operations of our 36-acre community, and I work closely with the Residents’ Council and committees, the owners and the management company. I am passionate and committed to enhancing the lives of all our residents and staff and to making Sandhill Cove the very best it can be.

Shawn Perrigo

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Sandhill Cove. My role as the administrator is to oversee the operations at Water’s Edge Health Center, which includes assisted living/extended congregate care, skilled nursing care, outpatient and short-term rehab therapies, memory care and respite care. Hopefully, you may never need our services, but, if you do, our full continuum of health options provides peace of mind for the future. I have been working with seniors for more than 20 years, and I am proud to be associated with Sandhill Cove and Life Care Services, our management company. I attended the University of Central Florida at Orlando where I received my Master’s of Social Work. In addition, I later pursued and achieved a Bachelor’s of Nursing and am a Registered Nurse.
